Back from Bali

I'm finally back from Bali. The trip was fantastic and we visited a few tourist attractions. It was amazing as almost all the Balinese is able to speak English rather fluently. The people are mostly Hindus and of course, they take pork. We stayed in Febris Hotel and from there, start to walk to Discovery Shopping Mall which is almost a kilometre nearby. Then, we walked to Jalan Kuta and pass by Hard Rock Cafe. However, as we walked along, me and sis stumbled upon something which was really funny. Here's the pic attached. Literal translation goes like this "Burn fish alive. If you don't believe, try it for yourself". Oh gosh, isn't that cruel? And I found it funny at the same time.. haha

Then we passed by Hard Rock Cafe. We dropped in to Hard Rock shop to get souvenirs for my eldest sis, who is a die-hard Hard Rock Fans. Then, we had our dinner at one of the roadside stall. The meal was so so and didn't expect much since the food is almost similar to Malaysia. Then, we strolled along the Kuta Beach and observed many surfers along the beach. From the beach we walked all the way back to our resort.

The second day was an early wake as we were going to travel to a few places that was about 2 to 3 hours of drive. We watched the Barong Dance and travel all the way up to Mount Batur at Kintamani to watch the famous volcano. The scenes were wonderful. The wind was cold and breezy and we actually had lunch at one of the restaurant.

The third day was rather tired and long journey. We visited a few attractions like the Gunung Kawi Temple and Monkey Forest. The most fun-filled day was on the fourth day. We went for watersports at Nusa Dua. We played Banana Boat, Fly Fish, Ski Jet and Parasailing. The most wonderful moment was parasailing where I was pulled up to the sky with a speed boat by a parachute. It was really a wonderful scene from the top overlooking the beach and the island, although it was only about 3mins up in the sky.

The next day immediately in the morning we had spa. The spa price was soooooo cheap compared to Malaysia! It was also a wonderful experience. The next day was an early flight at 7.50am! Although it was a tired trip, I never regretted for having wonderful and relaxing time in the island.
