Second visit to Ah Yat

Yesterday, I spent dinner with my family again in the same restaurant that I've visited two weeks ago. And of course, it's Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant again at Avenue K, near KLCC. This time, it was much suprise. There were a lot more patronisers compared to the last visit. There was a birthday celebration as well by another family. This time, instead of having individual sets, we have set menus for 6 pax. The meals served was totally different from the individual set. In within less than 10mins, we were immediately served with the first dish.

First of all, we have four different types of meat served in a big plate which consists of porks, barbequed porks, jelly fishes and ducks. The best one was the porks and barbequed porks. Next we have the sharks fins and soup, a bowl per person. That was really yummy. Then the third dish is the abalons with mushrooms. Yummy! Of course, there's no other restaurants that serves abalons like Ah Yat. Then, we have fried crab clams with bread crumbs. This is rather unique as it has three layers. One can taste the crab in the inner layer. The second layer consists of prawns and fish meat. The outer layer would be the bread crumbs.

Next, we have stir-fried prawns with sweet and sour taste which is equivalent tasty. The sides of the plate were decorated with little prawn heads, stuffed with some meat and salty sauce. The next dish that comes around is fried fish with soya sauce. Up to this point, all our stomach is already two third full. However, the food taste just so good that we are unable to resist the temptation. The next round is the fried rice sprinkled with small fried anchovies. So, each bite has the crispy effects that I believe all ages would love.

Finally, it was the end of the meal. The last two dishes served are desserts. We have sweet dessert boiled to the perfect taste with red beans, almond nuts and some beans (which I'm not too keen on the names). The other dessert served is two-types of pastry in lotus paste. One is pandan flavour and the other, original lotus flavour.

All in all, the dishes served still tempts everyone of us to visit the restaurant again. ^_^
